I want to share them here because they have help me walk closer with the Lord. I pray that you will welcome and believe the word of the Lord to you.

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns:
Do you hear the sound of My rain, children? When you hear the sound of the raindrops of heaven that form the pools of water upon the ground, you will hear Me call to you to come. I am calling the water-walkers of this time, those that will set all limitations aside and say, "If the Lord is calling me to come, then I can." I say to you come, and walk on the water with Me. It will be a delightful experience. You will begin to understand that you are not just flesh and blood, but you are spirit. As a spiritual child, you will be able to do what I do. Walking above the storms of life shall be your delight. Walking over all the works of the enemy shall be your victory. Come now to a new level of faith and understanding. I say again, do you hear the sound of the rain? The pools that form will become a river of My grace and glory, which gives life in abundance, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
I had a vision of a ball of string that just kept unraveling and there were knots and tangles to be undone. And, I realized that we are being made aware by the Spirit of God of things that have created confusion and complexities in our lives. This unraveling represents the process of resolving issues and of separating ourselves from things that keep us entangled.
Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
When we move in the flow of the Holy Spirit, we are in a river of anointing, each drop in a particular flow, not mindful of itself, but in continuous motion of unity and power with the whole -- in perfect order. There is no striving or division; it is one river of power carrying divine purpose, moving joyfully and willingly to its destination. As I see this river by the Spirit, I hear the music of its movement as a mighty army marching to the beat of a spiritual drummer with the strength and force of its Commander.

Joel 2:7-8 They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of war; every one marches in formation, and they do not break ranks. They do not push one another; every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, they are not cut down.

Beloved, if you will release yourself from the oppression and bondage of difficult situations and trust Me in them, you will find that you are in the flow of resolution. I have heard the cry of your heart, and the answers are forthcoming. The light will shine and answers will come in unexpected ways. No need to strive or worry; just rest in faith, says the Lord.

Hebrews 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
Be on guard and watch for circumstances that have the propensity to waste your time and energy. You will find that these diversions will wear you down and keep you from having the vitality that you need to deal with issues that do merit your attention. Be careful to maintain spiritual and practical integrity, and refuse to allow fear of man or guilt to be a motivating force. Ask, and I will give you wisdom, says the Lord, and I will direct your steps. Listen and be attentive to My leading.

James 1:5-8 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
Stay focused and refuse to allow confusion to be a distraction, for this is a work of the enemy against you that will keep you from walking in the power of the Holy Spirit to gain victory in the small things as well as the great things. Remain on task so that your attention is not diverted nor your strength dissipated, says the Lord. If you will deliberately walk in the Spirit, you will find a spiritual flow that will take you from strength to strength. In that flow you will find mental acuity and spiritual discernment that will serve you well. Again, stay focused!

Psalm 84:5-7 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca (weeping), they make it a spring; the rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion.

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns:
I hear the Lord say, come and ride. Come and ride upon the wind of My Spirit, for it will carry you into the heavenly places. Come and ride upon the waters that I am bringing forth in this season, for they shall renew you and bring a fresh anointing upon you that will strengthen and prepare you for that which is coming. Come and ride in the chariots of fire where you can see from My vantage point. Now is the time to mount up and ride on the power of My Word. Ride upon My horses in the season of apostolic power and the release of resurrection life. Do not allow the enemy to keep you earth-bound. I say, come and ride upon the power of My presence, says the Lord.

I speak to those who feel as though you have been swallowed up by darkness. This state of being has been caused by fear and a sense of hopelessness. What you are seeing is the condition of your soul. But, this does not describe your spirit. You must rise up in Spirit and see through eyes of faith as you let the truth of My word prevail. Let the power of My Spirit draw you up out of this place of desolation into life and restoration, says the Lord.

Psalm 23:1-6 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
There is a shift in the flow of My Spirit, which will begin to move you very quickly on a course of change. It is vital at this point in time that you are properly positioned. I am bringing you forth in an alignment of My will for you, which will manifest in the development of a succession of events. These changes will affect life on various levels, and it is important that you remain flexible and sensitive to the moving of the Spirit. Refuse to allow fear of the unfamiliar or change to cause you to resist what I am doing, says the Lord. Yield to this significant work.

Psalm 147:12-20 Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within you. He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat. He sends out His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes; He casts out His hail like morsels; Who can stand before His cold? He sends out His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow. He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel. I am in your problem-solver, says the Lord. No matter what the issue, I will speak into your life and give wisdom where it's needed. When the light dawns you will suddenly be aware of the darkness and oppression that these problems have created. Try it and see. Ask for wisdom and seek Me for understanding and stand believing that I will give it. I hear and answer your faith! So, don't grumble or be double-minded; just ask and believe.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
As I waited on the Lord, there seemed to be a lull in the realm of the spirit and a sense of watching, waiting, and uncertainty. I saw in the spirit an empty container waiting to be filled. This emptiness creates a void or vacancy that we are not comfortable with. There is an uneasiness, even fear, because we don't have a strong sense of what's ahead. Therefore, we find ourselves becoming more introspective. And I heard the Lord say that we have to be on guard against making mountains out of molehills and of allowing worry to occupy that empty space instead of trusting Him with what we cannot see or discern at this moment. There is a silence in heaven, and we must also silence our flesh so that we can stay in the will of God.

Zechariah 2:13 "Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!"

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
I speak to you of the apostolic power and anointing for this era. And, I say, that you are looking in the wrong place for the manifestation of this anointing. You are looking to find men who will hold that office, but this move of My Spirit is far greater in scope and purpose than a few good men. This power will manifest in My Body as discernment and establishment of truth as you, My people, turn away from fables and the doctrines of men and the doctrines of devils. This power will manifest in you when you contend for the faith and truth of My Word and purposes, says the Lord.

Jude 3-4 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns:
I come to you to take you on a spiritual journey. It is true that eye has not seen, nor has ear heard of the glory and the wonder that I am about to bring you into. These times and events have been established on the heavenly calendar, and they shall proceed and come forth in fullness. Encourage yourself in the Lord even as David did. Come to a higher place. Come with desire and anticipation of that which I am about to provide for you and do in you, say the Lord, for I have sent My Spirit to nurture, teach, and empower you. I have sent My Spirit to take you on a journey into the fullness of the Kingdom and My purposes. Enjoy the journey, and your peace shall be established.

Psalms 36:8 They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
WHERE ARE WE? We are on the threshold of a new era (a point in time from which a series of years is reckoned or determined). Life will take on new meaning and greater intensity as we move forward to fulfill kingdom destiny. What we are given to do will be fraught will significance as we proceed under the unction of the Holy Spirit with greater discernment and awareness of that which is supernatural being made manifest in our lives. Destiny is the operative word as the upcoming events and changes will propel God's people into a higher octave of kingdom life, meaning, and ministry. As diligently as we have planned and envisioned our lives at this time, surprises will abound, so expect the unexpected. Many who have played with Christianity and ministry will suddenly be able to discern their immaturity and move to a place of truth and kingdom reality. The light will come on, and those who have been children will unexpectedly realize that they need to live their lives without pretense or hypocrisy, but by actually demonstrating the kingdom.

Matthew 11:16-19 "But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling to their companions, and saying: 'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we mourned to you, and you did not lament.' For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' But wisdom is justified by her children."

It is time for the Body of Christ to grow up in Him, and the Spirit of the Lord will quicken this desire in each one of us as we yield to His work in us.
Ephesians 4:13-16 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ-- from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

I speak to those who have encountered recent situations and circumstances that have set up unseen roadblocks. You seem to have gotten stuck and do not feel like you can advance. This is because you have allowed these things to cause you to see yourself as overwhelmed and failing. But, I say to you, this is not the truth. This is a tactic of the enemy to frustrate and even embarrass you. Rise above your feelings of being blocked into the realm of the spirit and resist this attack, and purpose to move ahead, says the Lord.

Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
In a vision I saw a city on a river. Instead of stores and office buildings on a street, there were people in boats on the river conducting business. I saw boats with fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, and dry goods. The river was very wide with the business boats anchored and customer boats on the move. It was very colorful and unusually peaceful considering the busyness of the market atmosphere. I asked the Lord what this vision meant, and He said, "These represent the people of the Kingdom that are doing the Father's business." I also considered that the waterways are symbolic of the anointing.

Luke 2:49b "Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?"

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:


Watch for opportunities to make the necessary life adjustments that will allow you to progress in kingdom purpose, says the Lord. The need to make these corrections will first come as a subtle sense of discontentment. Seek Me for direction and wisdom. Ask and obey, but wait until you have a strong discerning awareness of your next step before you proceed. Timing is everything.

Psalms 119:133 Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY by Bill and Marsha Burns --Monday February 9, 2009:


We are embarking on a spiritual journey, and will be given new directions with regard to our effectiveness in the Spirit. However, Satan is opposing our advancement vehemently. We are to make sure that the spiritual pathway to communion with God is always open and not blocked by a work of the flesh. We are in a season of expansion, but demonic intrusion offers a challenge to maintain purity and order.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.

This is a time when we must clean up the foundation of our faith, to remove all doubt and unbelief. It's like sweeping the floor so that all religious debris is removed. But, we also are better equipped than at any other time and have more power than ever to do the job.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.

The way is open to victory, but it will take a lot of work to keep it open through prayer and warfare. The enemy uses abuse to keep God's people from kingdom effectiveness, and we are not to allow abuse of any kind. Many will have to just walk away.

2 Timothy 3:
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self- control, brutal, despisers of good,
4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Apostolic power for war has been birthed in the Body of Christ, but is just now beginning to arise. The Lord continues to admonish us to be watchmen, to be alert and awake, and to discern and detect attacks from the enemy. We are to stand ready to run to the battle and fight where we find the devil working against us. And, He will send angelic help to gain the victory.

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns --Tuesday February 10, 2009:

Enter into the fullness of My Spirit, says the Lord, for I am indeed the God who heals all of your diseases. I now re-establish My covenant promises in you so that you can believe with all of your heart, all of your mind, strength, and purpose to come forth in this season to be healed and walk in divine health that has been released in My kingdom. Enter into My purposes and into the flow of My Spirit, and I shall revive you and bring a freshness to your spirit and health and strength to your body. I will bring peace to your thoughts and emotions. My Word is written on your hearts to be remembered forever. Go back to the basics and the basis of My Word, and your foundation will be strong and secure. I say, "Be healed."
Psalm 103:2-3 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.

Beloved, you are living in times where you are acutely aware of various levels of instability. And, you will be tempted to allow that sense of insecurity to cause you to feel emotionally and mentally unstable. But, this is only a temptation from the evil one, for you belong to Me. And, you have been established on the foundation of My word and My promises. Even though life's storms rage all around you, you will stand firm. Refuse to be shaken by what you hear, says the Lord.
Matthew 7:24-25 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

Pay particular attention to your trouble because it will show you the areas in your life that need to be brought into divine order, says the Lord. These are unique and valuable times when you can make course corrections that will be of great benefit to you and those around you. However, the enemy will try to use whatever he can to saddle you with guilt, shame and condemnation. Refuse to allow him access to your emotions.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns --Thursday February 12, 2009:

I call you My steadfast ones, for you continue to persevere and endure. I also call you faithful because you have not turned back in times of tribulation and trials. You have faithfully pressed on to overcome adversity and have kept the faith. And, I call you blessed because you have stood in the face of difficulties and have not given up. You are My chosen ones and precious in My sight, says the Lord.

1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
